Last Update was suppose to be the last one but I have found the issue regarding left and right movement for gamepad users and can fix it but updating will cause a wipe like it always does unfortunately.
I always feel bad updating because the wipes so I'm giving a grace period before I do the update. You can expect the update by the end of tomorrow.
You can find your save data by: Browsing Dead Wells Local Files > Dead Well_Data > Save Profile. Just make a copy of *Save Profile* save it to your desktop or anywhere that isn't in the games folder.
Alternatively you can use the save editor to rebuild your save. I understand If your upset by this and I'm sorry.
