Happy Labor Day!
The long-awaited resource discard feature and radiation effect toggle are finally here!
In addition, we’ve gone through player feedback collected over the past period, improved several aspects that affected the gameplay experience, and added a number of practical features to make building and exploration smoother.
I. New Features
1.Added radiation effect toggle
Based on player feedback that the radiation visuals could feel too intense, you can now manually turn the effect on or off depending on your preference.
2.Added trash bin (discard resources)
You can now get rid of unwanted resources. This has been one of the most requested features, and it’s now implemented through the trash bin.
3.Added Glimmerwave range preview in blueprint mode (Field Generator)
You can now preview the effective range before building, making planning more intuitive.
4.Added distance-based radiation intensity
Radiation strength now changes with distance, making it feel more natural.
5.Added building level requirement display (build/demolish UI)
Requirements are now shown directly in the interface to reduce unnecessary trial and error.
6.Added production level requirement display (facility UI)
7.Added tips switch button
Building on the tips system added in the previous update, you can now switch between multiple tips.
8.Added auto-collector status prompt
Provides clearer feedback on collection status.
II. Bug Fixes
1.Fixed an issue where Glimmerwave chests in ruins could not be opened
2.Fixed an issue where the Field Generator would not work with mixed Glimmerwaves
3.Fixed an issue where the character could float when a ladder was removed mid-climb
III. Optimizations & Adjustments
1.Updated the building bar to reflect actual construction progress
2.Adjusted the initial tech screen layout
3.Reworked the Field Generator logic and improved its overall effectiveness
4.When saving and exiting, the game now creates a new save file with a timestamp
5.Adjusted Raw Soil yield (demolition output reduced from 99 → 30)
6.Adjusted the amount of iron plates obtained from dismantling wild cryo pods
The floating island world of Cloud Dwellers continues to grow.
We will keep listening to your feedback, improving the experience, and adding new content. More fun mechanics, new facilities, and exploration areas are on the way to make your sky colony journey even more engaging.
Thank you for your support and feedback — it truly helps shape this world.
Jump in and experience the new update, and continue building your own sky utopia!
