We’re sorry to tell you some bad news. As lots of you have pointed out to us, most players from Russia can’t connect to our multiplayer modes. Unfortunately this is because Roskomnadzor has decided to restrict access to specific services and our online game servers are included.
All public and private multiplayer modes can’t be connected to, including:
Endless Co-Op
Last Bot Standing
All Co-Op Challenges
Private Duels
Right now we can’t fix this problem because it’s not the game that has broken, it’s an issue with general Russian internet service. We have heard that some community members have been able to connect to multiplayer through VPN services but with severely high ping. If you know of any work arounds that let you play multiplayer, let us and the rest of the Russian community know! We hope this changes in the future so you can enjoy the game but we don’t know when the restrictions will be lifted.
