Long time no see, friends! While we’re in the process of adding the finishing touches to Chip ’n Clawz vs. The Brainioids (stay tuned for more details soon, including the release date!), we’ve got some great news for you already today. Introducing: Friend’s Pass!
What is Friend’s Pass?
With the Friend’s Pass, you can join forces to save the world in online co-op... or go head-to-head to see who’s the best of the best in PvP multiplayer for free across any platform thanks to cross play support. As long as one person owns the full game, both you and a friend can play the full campaign via online co-op and play all the PvP maps available at launch. Friend’s Pass will be available to download for free on PC, PlayStation and Xbox!
How to play with Friend’s Pass
Let's look at an example: You just got Chip ’n Clawz vs. The Brainioids and you’re looking to play co-op with your bestie, but they don’t own the game. Follow these steps for unlimited multiplayer fun:
You own the game (You’re set already!)
Your friend downloads and installs Friend’s Pass on their platform.
You share an invite code with your friend, which you’ll find in-game.
Your friend joins your co-op session by entering the invite code in the game.
Play the game together!

By the way, along with having the ability to join a friend’s online game session for free, Friend’s Pass owners also have the option to play the first four singleplayer levels for free to get an introduction to the game and learn how to play.
