The 1.7 "Gauntlet Update" is coming to Cassette Beasts!

Cassette Beasts is getting a new, free content update on November 20th that introduces a brand new game mode! The 1.7 “Gauntlet Update” will see players taking on previous bosses and rivals in a knuckle-biting fight for fusion material and bragging rights!

Get ready - buckle up for the ride!

Magikrab needs your help – and will pay you handsomely in return! Magikrab’s Gauntlet sees you hopping on one of the Mer-line's interdimensional trains and battling allies, enemies and bosses from your past. Available after the main story, this is the ultimate challenge for those players who think they’ve mastered their monster forms! What’s more, this gauntlet is entirely playable with a friend in online co-op – better buddy up, because this ride is about to get rough!

The new Sticker fusion feature gives you a whole new way to customize your move stickers – better save up those Fused Materials!

New Cosmetic DLC: Fashion Pack

We also have a new cosmetic DLC coming along with the Gauntlet Update!

The Fashion Pack is priced at 3.99 USD/3.99 EU/3.29£ and will come with a ton of new looks for your character as they travel through New Wirral!

The Fashion Pack adds the following cosmetic items to the player’s wardrobe: • Baseball Cap • Flat Cap • Twin Tails • Bow & Bangs • Foxy Cut • Windswept • Spikes & Goggles • Swept Mohawk • Flower & Fringe • Beret • Round Specs • Trenchcoat • Crop Top • Tall Boots

Steam Workshop

Whilst the PC version of Cassette Beasts already has a robust modding community, the 1.7 update will bring Steam Workshop support to the game - letting mod creators share their creations directly via the Steam platform!
