Repeated intro
Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. The Caravanners Overhaul update is progressing at an intense pace. I want this game to become the best among caravan games, and that’s why it takes time.

It took around 1.5 years to prepare Caravanners for Early Access. As you know, instead of making small updates, I decided to completely rebuild the map due to engine related issues. Along with the map, many other aspects of the game are being reworked. As you can imagine, it’s not possible to rebuild a game that took 1.5 years in just 2–3 months. This project is very important to me, and I want it to be as good as possible. That’s why it takes time. I’m currently working at a very intense pace, focusing on details, and the process is going very well.
Why aren’t there updates for the current version of the game? I had already made many updates to the current version based on your feedback. Right now, I’m building a completely new, more detailed, and more immersive map from scratch. Since the map is entirely different, the old mission locations and money-making systems no longer fit the new structure. Therefore, these systems also need to be redesigned according to the new map. In short, along with the new map, many core systems must be updated to match it. That’s why the map will be completed first, and then the mission and economy systems will be adjusted accordingly. After that, a large, all in one overhaul update will be released.
What is the current status?
The map has been completely redesigned from scratch.
It is slightly smaller than before, but much denser and more detailed.
The city has been rebuilt from scratch and is larger than the previous one.
Forests and biomes are now much more detailed and higher quality.
Highways and road types have been diversified and improved.
Environmental models have been remade with more detail.
Optimization improvements have been made.
Trees will now be visible from kilometers away.
NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR support have been added.
The player character has been updated.
Caravan driving has been reworked.
Grass, bushes, and trees now have wind animations.
Missions are being redesigned and will now appear individually on the top left of the screen.
The driving license exam has been removed.
Gamepad support is being improved.
The save system is being completely rebuilt.
Money-making systems (jobs) are being redesigned.
Some menus are being updated to be more user-friendly.
An extra graphics quality option will be available for high-end PCs.
Hitching and FPS drops during travel between locations (1–3 seconds) have been fully resolved.
The game’s story and core loop have been reworked, and the mission system will be built around this.
The full map rebuild is still in progress. A much more detailed, higher-quality, and better Caravanners experience is coming. My goal is to deliver the best caravan game in terms of story, atmosphere, mechanics, and overall experience.
As I specifically mentioned in a previous devlog, if you don’t hear from me for a while (whether it’s a week or even a month), or if I’m occasionally quiet in the Steam discussions, please don’t assume that I’ve abandoned the game or stopped development. On the contrary, I’m continuing to work with great determination and dedication. When the overhaul is complete, you will be met with a much
