Hi Climbers,

We're incredibly proud to let you know Cairn has won the Mike Seller's Systemic design as well as the Grand Jury awards at Indiecade!

Not only does it mean a lot to us this close to launch, but we're also especially touched it came from Indiecade. We are big fans of the community they've built for indie devs through the years, and we're humbled to join the ranks of their incredible alumnis

We're not too humble to share the praise from the jury: "What sets Cairn apart from other climbing games is the beautiful atmospheric setting and the craftsmanship of realistic character controls. Nearing the summit of a climb your hands tremble, sweat, both in the game and in real life - it's difficult but also fair - letting the player choose their route, manage their supplies and set their own pace on the mountain, while occasionally stopping to appreciate the view. Cairn shows what's possible in non traditional character controls and elevates the experience with artistry and atmosphere."
