Yes, it took a while… Breaking Lockdown is almost 6 years old now, and as I mentioned in a previous news post, I’m no longer working full-time on game development. But I’ve finally managed to deliver a proper update for the Unity security vulnerability, admittedly a bit late.

To put things in perspective: even bigger studios relied on the patch provided by Steam, which covered most cases. Me, as a solo dev working part-time, I was able not only to implement the update properly but also to sneak in a little surprise in Apocalypse Mode. Always with taste and subtlety, of course (yes, that’s ironic 😄).

Thanks to everyone for your patience and support over the years. I hope this update brings you a bit more security… and a little smile for those still brave enough to tackle Apocalypse Mode!
