Dear Survivors 🌊,
Major Update 5: Visions has now been out for a week, and we’re really thankful for all the feedback you’ve been sending our way. Seeing you battle sickness, chase the hallucinations, and push through the fever fits has been both terrifying and inspiring.
Today we’re rolling out a quick Hotfix #1 to smooth out some rough edges from Visions and tighten up the overall experience. You can find the full list of patch notes just below this post.

Fixes
Fixed an issue where Chapter 3 would not start correctly
Fixed a possible soft-lock preventing players from finishing the tutorial
Fixed caves flickering in the distance
Fixed players being launched into the air when crouching in quicksand
Fixed dark water damage occurring while in quicksand
Applied visual tweaks to death screen icons
Foliage and landscape fixes
Adjusted tutorial fight timing
Fixed a typo in one of the text boxes
Fixed some animal behaviour issues
Added hand spasm animations during fever fits and electric shocks
Tweaked fire effects when running with a torch
Fixed jungle tinder hovering
Tutorial animation tweaks
Fixed the tutorial pistol missing its hammer in some animations
Adjusted dead seamate physics
Added more resources to Riverlands
Fixed a crash when entering specific ponds in Riverlands
Improved performance in The Dark Lair
