While you command the fleet led by the Callisto in the demo, we wanted to give you a sneak peak to the other Gunstars that await in the main game. You will be able to unlock each of them as you progress in the game and meet their individual unlocking conditions.
Callisto. Ares. Erebus. Atlanta. Each of the four Gunstar vessels in Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes delivers its own unique specialisation.

Callisto - Assault Gunstar
The Callisto Gunstar is an incredibly versatile ship - providing its Commander with solid all-round operational abilities. The Callisto class is armed with the iconic Flak as a primary weapon, capable of repelling hordes of Cylon Raiders.
Much like the Battlestar Galactica - which inspired the design of Callisto - this is an older model Gunstar which has repeatedly proven its reliability and durability.
Ares - Carrier Gunstar
The Ares-class Gunstar has been specifically designed to specialise in squadron maintenance and deployment - providing the means for a Commander to effectively govern multiple fighter Squadrons. The Ares-class is a formidable adversary for the Cylon aggressors, if provided with appropriately skilled pilots.
The Ares boasts an automated central flight deck and specialised command bridge, allowing for rapid management of fighter rotation, capable of confronting multiple threats simultaneously.
Erebus - Electronic Warfare Gunstar
The Erebus Gunstar specialises in electronic warfare - the Twelve Colonies’ best attempt to match the Cylons on a technological battlefield. This hammerhead vessel is equipped with numerous experimental systems, providing a commander with various options to hamstring the Cylon enemy.
Erebus’ capabilities will allow you to deploy innovative technological strategies during combat sorties, attacking Cylon vessels with cyber viruses, EMP shockwaves and more.
Atalanta - Artillery Gunstar
Our Atalanta-class Gunstar is a second-line ship, designed to provide long-range fire against the Cylon forces. The Atalanta is capable of deploying devastating fire at distance - diminishing the Cylon fleet before it comes within range of damaging our own.
While its ranged fire allows for combat over distance, Squadron protection of the Atalanta is vital to ensure destruction of any Cylon force that does survive initial bombardment - as the Atalanta Gunstar’s elegant hull is unsuited to high-intensity combat.
