With Aphelion launching soon (April 28!), we’ve compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions about the game. If you have a question that we haven’t answered here, feel free to go and ask on our social media channels.

When will Aphelion launch?

The game will officially release on April 28th, 2026, at 10AM CEST.

Will there be a launch discount?

Yes! You can get 10% off for two weeks.

What age rating is Aphelion?

Aphelion is rated PEGI 16, ESRB M, and USK 12.

Will there be different editions?

Yes! As well as the Standard Edition, there will be a Deluxe Edition containing the game, a cosmetics pack, a digital artbook, and the original soundtrack by award-winning composer Amine Bouhafa.

The cosmetics pack comes with 2 spacesuit variants and 6 backpack accessories: 3 stickers and 3 keychains. The stickers and keychains reference the ESA collaboration and fan-favorite DON’T NOD games, Jusant and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

Both Standard and Deluxe will benefit from the 10% launch discount.

What are the minimum and recommended specs?

How long is the game?

The game is around 8-12 hours long, depending on how completionist you are.

Will the game have a photo mode?

Yes! And we’d like to see aaaaaalll the pretty pictures of Persephone.

Does the game have any content or trigger warnings?

Yes, Aphelion explores sensitive topics, including death, blood and injury, mild body horror, and psychological distress.
