We are excited to reveal Amine Bouhafa as the composer of Aphelion. Amine is a César award-winning movie composer whose work you may know from films such as Timbuktu (2015), The Summit of the Gods (2021), and The Little Sister (2025).
We showed a behind-the-scenes look at Amine’s work and studio yesterday at the New Game+ showcase. The video shows the ways in which he uses instruments like the pipe organ and the unique Cristal Bachet to reflect the sacred feeling of the adventure and the frozen planet, Persephone.
We love Amine’s unique blend of the intimate and the epic in his music and think it fits Aphelion perfectly. It beautifully conveys the atmosphere and mood of the planet, the tension of the Nemesis, and the emotions between Ariane and Thomas.
