changedWith Season 29 underway, we wanted to look back at Season 28, share ban numbers and showcase the anti-cheat work that went into one of our most secure seasons yet!
removedFor the entirety of Season 28 (Feb 10- May 5), across all platforms, we issued a total of 139,697 bans onaccounts for various cheating infractions. Some highlights for specific bans: DMA: 4,290 HWID Spoofer: 7,136 Automatic Hardware Detection: 10,658 Xim/Titan: 3,865 We removed a total of 7,912,251 RP from accounts with confirmed cheating infractions.
addedIn Season 28, we implemented multiple new detection systems, while updating and overhauling existing ones. This equipped us to remove even more cheaters from our game and obtain the lowest match infection rate ever hit on Apex at 4.1% . Additionally, the Anti-Cheat Team’s work kept our competitive scene secure, with 547 denied entries into ALGS tournaments.
