The same foundation... but a new perspective.
🎵 Reharm

🔪 Re-harm
To harm again.
Amadeus: A Riddle for Thee ~ Episode 2 ~ Reharm is coming along much faster than anticipated. There is so, so much to be done, but I didn't realize the full extent of what can be re-used, and how much the story—now that I know everything important—is basically writing itself.
The Steam page will be up early and soon, but there are a few more things needed in order to do that!
Here's what was accomplished though:
- CosmeticDESIGNMade a key decision that is a primary reason I can't create a Steam page just yet. Store page can't go live until I have screenshot mockups for this.
MUSIC - Wrote the composition that will serve a similar function to Spellbound Mischief (working title "Bearer of Mine"), featuring a solo saxophonist going nuts over some melancholy 11/8 swag.
- CosmeticCODECreated functional skeleton of Episode 2 in Unity from Episode 1's source code. Nothing has to be reinvented and I can get right to plugging stuff in.
- CosmeticNARRATIVEFinalized some writing decisions, then wrote a complete first draft of the first 5 scenes of the game.
- CosmeticMARKETINGMade most of the store page assets for Episode 2 (including the logo above).
ART - Episode 2 takes place some length of time after Episode 1, and Solea would not still be wearing her hair that way. If we know one thing about this girl it's that she has a very vibrant sense of visual self-expression. After some input from my Solea Design Consultants, she's got her Episode 2 look pretty much solidified, and I love it.
More soon! Thank you so much for playing Episode 1, and I hope to get Episode 2 to you sooner than later :)
