98xx Rebooted

Hey everyone! I wanted to make this post because I’ve had some people reach out to me, still asking where 98xx Rebooted is, and for those that don’t know, a while back, I announced its discontinuation as I have been working on a brand-new project instead. There are multiple reasons why it was canceled, but the main reason was that I wasn’t enjoying making it anymore, and I had a feeling it wouldn’t be worth it in the end. If you’re not passionate about your project, then don’t even bother forcing it, and that’s the decision I had to make. For those who are disappointed and want to know how the game would have ended up, along with the story/lore, I posted a bunch of short stories titled “98xx Stories of the Past” on the 98xx Discord back in May. A YouTuber who goes by the name of FlightlessBird read each story in video form, so if you want a better explanation of the full story, then you should check him out! I will link his playlist below. I’ve felt good with this decision since I’ve become burnt out with the whole horror genre, as I was doing it for over 2 years at that point. Plus, the whole 98xx thing with Julian & Friends has kind of died out now, and trying to milk it for the sake of relevancy is never a good idea. I hope you all understand my decision, and I can assure you I am much happier working on my new project since I’m extremely passionate about it!
