We’re excited to share that PurrPlate is officially part of the Steam Next Fest! 🎉

Our brand-new demo is now live — come join us and spend a relaxing, heartwarming day with your feline friends in the forest café.

This version not only introduces new content, but also includes lots of optimizations and fixes to make your experience smoother and more delightful.

🛠️ Fixes & Improvements

We’ve listened carefully to your feedback and addressed a number of issues:

• Improved autosave timing and reliability;

• Fixed a crash when recruiting the final special cat;

• Corrected job information errors after pausing;

• Fixed rare issues with the expedition recruitment button;

• Adjusted pathfinding to reduce cats getting stuck;

• Fixed settings persistence and minor typos.

🎨 Game Optimizations

We’ve also fine-tuned the visuals and overall gameplay for a smoother experience:

• Softer lighting and reflections on the lake;

• Stable camera behavior and free mouse movement in windowed mode;

• Added triple-speed gameplay and BGM volume control;

• Adaptive resolution for better performance on laptops;

• Forest decorations now dynamically enhance the map’s atmosphere;

• Buildings of the same type can now be upgraded directly without rebuilding!

And of course, we’ve added a lot of new, cute features!

• New buildings: Advanced Service Counter, Small Stage, Small Garden;

• Five new recipes to unlock through quests and exploration;

• Stage buildings now increase nearby customers’ patience when staffed;

• Land expansion system — gradually unlock more plots with your hard-earned coins!

We’re also working on even more upcoming content:

• Cleaning Room (cats will automatically tidy the café ✨)

• Performance Stage (improves customer patience)

• Additional environment decorations and upgraded counters
